Yes, depending on our availability and the desired move-in date.
The monthly fee includes full dining, coffee, tea service and snacks available throughout the day; housekeeping; personal laundry; local transportation; utilities (except cable and phone); basic care; and a full activity calendar of social and recreational programs. We charge a community fee deposit (a type of entry fee). Also, any charges for care services, both in Assisted Living and Memory Care, are bundled with the rent.
Smoking is not allowed. We are a smoke-free community.
Cadence Senior Living is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a residential community, there are no scheduled visiting hours. However, out of respect to those living in the community, we request that visitors generally keep to an 8AM–8PM visiting schedule. If visiting outside those hours, please notify our staff so that we can let you in when the front doors are secured. To ensure the safety of our community, all visitors, including vendors, are required to sign in at the front desk.
Yes! We are a pet-friendly community that welcomes residents’ dogs, cats, birds and fish. Dogs must be approved by the Executive Director, who determines acceptable pet residency. For the safety and comfort of all residents and guests, residents are responsible for their pets at all times and must adhere to the pet policy.
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They must complete the approved training program, as mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services of the State of North Carolina.
Staffing ratios are mandated by the state of North Carolina; however, Cadence ensures we provide staffing over and above the mandated staffing to ensure appropriate and quality services are provided to all residents.
Our Resident Services Director assesses each resident’s care needs to create a personalized service plan that determines their level of care. Assessments are done prior to move-in, 30 days after move-in and as needed to ensure everyone receives as much or as little care as they need.
Some of our residents in Assisted Living simply require assistance managing medications, while others need various levels of care. We can assist residents with Activities of Daily Living such as showering, dressing, grooming and even escorts to dining and activities. Each resident has a personalized service plan that is updated regularly to meet changing needs.
